Drama Hour member Davis Banta did a reading of “Immovable Feast” at the Mill Works Theatre tonight. The Mill Works Theatre is periodic event, often every two weeks or so, that features creative artists reading original and non original work that they’ve been practicing and want to work out in a creative atmosphere. Attendance is walk-in, and admission is whatever you feel you can donate.

Well, the Drama Hour went out of ‘09 with a bang, in a special two hour show that features the most original material in a single show we’ve had in quite awhile, along with a classic Richard Diamond episode, and a cut from Firesign Theatre!
The original material included a BS news piece regarding Santa’s life cycle, the first installment in an intended serial entitled “505: Paranoid Detective” by Madeline Bills, “The Infinity Defense” by Madeline Bills, and “The Tell-Tale ‘Ho-Ho-Ho’” by Davis Banta.
We also replayed a live piece we performed a year ago with a New Year’s theme, entitled “The Jest of Hahalaba” by Lord Dunsany.
And with that- we bid you a good 2009 and have a great New Years!!
Last week, we had an interview with Marilyn Abad Cardinelli, the director of radio drama production of A Christmas Carol that is going on at the CSUMB World Theater on the 11th and 12th of December. You can listen to the interview below:
